DONUTS WE WOULD DROOL FOR DAYS OVER.

DOUGHNUT PLANT

This place is consistent in the razzle dazzle department.  Just witness the behemoth that is the Tres Leches doughnut.  Its fundamentally a pound cake inspired donut which has a traditional mixture of sweet milks lulling about in the center.  Fortunately for us this little devil is not only a reality but also highly sought afte, making it a prized posession among sugar collectors city wide, unfortunatley its edible.

Along with this they have a wider assortment of donuts in their ‘cake line’ along with an exntensive assortment of ‘doughseeds’ (which are essentially the equivalent to a dunking donut munchkin) – you can choose from Hazelnut Chocolate, Matcha Green Tea, Peanut Butter & Blackberry Jam, Pistachio, Strawberry & Cream and Wild Blueberry & Cream.

DOUGH LOCO

These guys are huge and so are the donuts!

The Raspberry Sriracha donut is what keeps people attentive and lends credence to the local myth that this place runs out before 7 in the morning…YES the early bird does get to be fuller and more satisfied.

Luckily food is meant to be cooked at all hours of the day, sooo no need to worry just keep busy till the next batch comes out, ready to be devoured.

 BOMBOLONI

This place is all upscale taughty haute cuisine galore and all of it put into a hugely perfect dessert known as the BOMBOLONI!  They have a variety of dressings and fillings to get in and start figuring out what you’re in the mood for – our favorites would have to be the honey Bomboloni and the Apple cinnamon.  YUM.

DUN-WELL DOUGHNUTS

Totally vegan (isn’t that super) and they have over 200 flavors that aren’t available daily – which isn’t just a wonderful marketing gambit but also a way of keeping people intrigued and waiting.  No, but in all seriousness, if any of us ever get bored of being lacto-vegetarians then this will be our safe haven/cafe of solace.

You can chose from blueberry, Chai tea, Chocolate mint, Ginger snaps, lemon poppy seeds among an enormous array of exciting flavors.

RED ROOSTER

If you havent been to Red rooster to try their chicken wings then surely make a pit stop to try the sweet potato doughnut, its perfectly understated sweetness is delirium induction central and the kick of the cinnamon sugar keeps your buds afloat long enough for another bite.  The feeling takes some getting used to at least if you havent been to universal studios since you were like five or something.
